4th - 8th Grades - TCEA Region 16 Competition
Friday's, 8:30-10:00, Beginning September 10th, Ending January 21st
Students compete against other robotics clubs and schools all over the Texas Panhandle. They'll have to work in both the digital and physical world as they build and program their robots to accomplish a variety of challenging tasks. This year, the contest directors have added an RC component, making the this competition season even better than before! Our students won this competition last time we competed, so we'll be looking to defend our title!
$75 per month ($375 total) - Cost includes contest registration and T-Shirts.
Spring 2022
4th - 8th Grades
Friday's 8:30 - 10:00, Beginning February 4th, Ending April 22nd
Each spring, Texas Tech's College of Engineering hosts a challenging, imaginative and fun competition. Students build and program their own robots to complete a series of tasks using Lego's EV3 system. They'll learn collaboration skills, problem solving and how to overcome the complexities of interaction between the digital and physical worlds!
$75 per month ($225 total)

4th - 5th Grades - Lego League Explore
11:00-12:00, Beginning Saturday, October 2nd. See below for specific dates.
Students join the global FIRST robotics community, and use the Lego WeDo 2.0 system to build and program their own robots. They'll learn how to design and implement their own solutions to problems and collaborate just like real engineers.
$105 for the Fall (No competition event for this age group.)
6th - 10th Grades - TCEA* Region 16 Competition

10th - 12th Grades - First Tech Challenge
10:00-12:00, Beginning Saturday, September 18th. See below for specific dates.
Students join the global FIRST robotics community, and they move past Lego to construct more advanced metal machines. The programming is also more challenging, and the game more sophisticated. In this competition, your students are breaking into new territory in their journey to becoming engineers!
$100 per month, Competition will be in early Spring, specific dates still to be determined.
